Gentlemen and Players provide caps for England players’ celebration at Lords

On 21st February a very special event held at Lords saw a unique gathering of over 200 current and former England players.

The guest list spanned many generations including some of those travelling to the West Indies to play in the upcoming One-Day International series to as far back as players who had represented England in the 1950s, including over 30 current and former captains.

The event was hosted by former England bowler Jonathan Agnew and the highlight of the evening was the cap presentation. Gentlemen and Players were the proud providers of caps presented to every player at the dinner.

Any players who were unable to attend received a ceremonial cap with their individual number as recognition of their contribution to English cricket.
