Gentlemen and Players restore 1930’s cricket cap

Gentlemen and Players recently restored a very special cricket cap that once belonged to Jack Fingleton and gifted to Sir Michael Parkinson.

“It’s one of my proudest possessions given to me by Jack Fingleton – the great Australian cricketer and later commentator – which he wore when he opened for Australia in the 30’s with Don Bradman.  He gave me his second cap which sadly had suffered a cracked peak now lovingly restored by Gentlemen and Players for which I am eternally grateful.  It is a memento that means a great deal to me and my family.  Thank you so much for treating it with so much loving care.”
